It’s funny. This line has been bashed into the ground countless times. The general consensus of the sentence is negative. Even when it’s being used as a joke, it’s not funny. Well tgfters, it’s time to give your Monday a second look.
I like to think of Mondays as “hump day”. Every Monday I wake up. My first though when I open my eyes are, this moment, this very moment right now is the most possible, furthest, longest time from another day off. I find this attitude does wonders for my personality for the first 2 – 3 hours at work. The good news, on that drive home I come to the realization that it’s over and now everything is just a downward slope. A breeze as some would say, a walk in the park. After a Monday is over, for me, the week passes by quite quickly. That is why I deem Monday as my “Hump Day”.
Next time someone at work comes up to you when you are pouring that cup of coffee in the morning with the most horrid scowl on your face and says “Does somebody have a case of the Monday. *giggles*”. Just stare them down like you were eating their soul with your hungry, hungry eyes and think, just get over today and you’re in the clear.

Tom, you really must of had a really bad case of the mondays yesterday to write that whole thing. maybe you should have a doctor look at that, your case looks pretty severe.
I wonder what would happen if you went up to your boss and said “I need to go home sick, I have a really bad case of the mondays”.
