Our flights leave tomorrow morning nice and early and we will both be back in our respective home cities by sunset. It’s been an amazing journey and we’ve had an absolutely amazing time sharing it with you. Thanks for coming and watching.

Stay tuned for more stuff in the next couple of days.

A sunset in Llyodminster, Alberta

After leaving Llyod we set sail for Edmonton, the first stop, West Edmonton Mall!

We both walked around and visited a bunch of cool stores. Ryan bought his John Deere hat… sigh… I’m now officially the guy that hangs around with the guy in the John Deere hat. Ryan believes the hat makes people around him more friendly because of the vibrant green color…. you can be the judge.

Ryan and his hat.

After our purchases we met up with our High school friend Wanda! She showed us a great time on the town, a lot of catching up was done and many of drinks were had.

Next we headed to Red Deer, but actually ended up in a little town to the west called Sylvan Lake. It was beautiful. It’s sorta a summer cottage town. The RV park there was actually closed but we went online and found the number. We called the park and a guy asked if were the RV parked out front. He agreed on a shady under the table deal of 20 bucks for electricity for the night.

Tom and Ryan enjoying some Fat Bastard. Notice our map of Canada on the wall! We trace our route as we travel it. Fun times indeed.

After a great night sleep at the lake we headed off to Calgary to meet up with our friend Andrea and then Wanda who was coming down from Edmonton. Calgary is a crazy place. You can tell people have money. There are fancy cars everywhere. Almost every single store you go into has positions available for a full or part time job. It’s neat up until you’re at a restaurant and it takes 20 mins to get the menus because they are so understaffed.

Ryan and Andrea sporting Cowboy hats.

What would a visit to Calgary be without visiting the famous tower.

The elevator.

Ryan using his gorilla marketing skills and shoving a business card in the elevator panel

Departing from Calgary we made our way to Banff and Beyond.

Road sign.

We were both very excited about the mountains, which we got to see first hand today with a gondola ride up. The view was spectacular.

The View

Well that’s it for now. We still have 6 days to go! Kamloops, Whistler, Vancouver and the Island. Exciting times! Stay tuned and thanks for all your feedback!

So far one of my favorite things is the amount of time that I have while the other guy drives. It’s fun. I sit here and browse facebook, write Blog posts, sleep in the back on the bouncy bed, sit up front with Ryan and chat and take pictures

I just want to thank everybody who keeps coming to the site and giving us awesome feedback. It’s been fun with this two way dialog. Through the technology we have with us we pretty much get any message you send to us in real time and we can respond via twitter on the front page. It’s really cool. So keep you messages coming and we’ll keep responding!

Well enter Erwin. He’s great. Always positive feedback in our comments. He’s our friend on facebook. Which let me find his blog. Where I listened to his audio show. He has such a cool accent!! *sigh* Oh Erwin *sigh* (I’m not stalking. Shhhhhhhhh)

Today when I signed intoFacebook I saw much concern in his Facebook status for us!
